Who we are
Tohunga Transport Advisory Partners Ltd ("TTAP", "we", "us") is the entity responsible for the personal information collected through this website and through our consulting engagements. Our office is at Level 3, 29 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt 5010, Aotearoa New Zealand.
What we collect
From this website, we collect only the information you choose to send us via the contact form: your name, email, organisation (optional), subject, and message. We also receive standard server log data (IP address, user agent, request time) from our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
In the course of consulting work, we collect the information needed to deliver the project — typically names, contact details, organisation roles and project-related correspondence of client and stakeholder personnel.
Why we collect it
We collect personal information for one or more of the following purposes only:
- To respond to enquiries you initiate
- To deliver consulting services under contract
- To meet our legal and professional obligations (record keeping, audit, regulatory)
- To improve the operation and security of this website
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may share information with:
- Our subcontractors and project partners, only as required to deliver the project, and under confidentiality obligations
- Our hosting provider Cloudflare (which processes website traffic on our behalf — see Cloudflare's privacy policy)
- Regulators and law enforcement, where required by law
Where we store it
Most personal information is stored on services hosted in New Zealand or in countries with comparable privacy protections. Cloudflare uses globally distributed infrastructure; our consulting records are stored in Microsoft 365 datacentres located in Australia and New Zealand.
How long we keep it
Project records are retained for at least seven years after the last engagement with the relevant client, in line with NZ consulting and tax obligations. Contact-form enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and, if relevant, follow up. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us:
- What personal information we hold about you
- To correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- To delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
Email admin@ttap.co.nz with "Privacy request" in the subject line and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. Cloudflare's edge logs collect non-identifying request metadata only, retained briefly for performance and security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law changes. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date.
