She holds a Master of Geospatial Analysis from the University of Canterbury (2025) and a BSc in Statistics from Victoria University (2021). She develops practical geospatial tools that turn complex datasets into clear, decision-ready insights — supporting programme development, legal change documentation, option assessment and performance reporting. Yiyao is proficient in ArcGIS Pro and advanced data workflows, integrating spatial data with asset systems and dashboards. Recent engagements include WCC's Speed Management Plan, Kāpiti Coast Road Maintenance (AWM integration), and AMPT/AMP dashboard work for PCC and TDC.
